The Grays Harbor Institute was established in 2005 by a group of citizens to create a speakers series in Grays Harbor that would provide lectures, seminars, round-tables and other presentations for the educational benefit of the general public. Presentations investigate, analyze, synthesize and promote democratic ideals consistent with ending poverty and racism and advancing human, worker, civil, environmental, educational and health rights. Our radio stations KGHI and KGHE are 100% volunteer based rural community radio stations that broadcasts information, arts and entertainment for the central Washington coast. KGHI - KGHE programming promotes democracy, education and social justice. The Grays Harbor Institute is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.
